Early Life and Education
Oluseye Oladejo was born on February 2nd, 1966, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He attended St. Peters Anglican Primary School in Aremo, Ibadan, and Archbishop Aggey Memorial Secondary School in Ilasamaja, Lagos, for his secondary education. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University).
Career in Journalism and Public Relations
Oladejo started his career in journalism at the Directorate of Mass Mobilization in Ibadan and later worked as a Promotions Officer for the Daily Times Nigeria. He founded Gold Link Media, a successful media company, where he served as manager from 1990 to 1999.
Political Journey
In 1999, Oladejo was appointed Secretary to the Local Government in Mushin, Lagos State, and later became the First Executive Secretary of Mushin Local Government in 2004. He served as the Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government from 2004 to 2007. Oladejo was appointed Special Adviser for Commerce and Industry in the cabinet of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola from 2011 to 2015. He later served as Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations in Lagos State.
Lagos State Spokesperson
Since 2006, Oladejo has served as the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, effectively communicating party ideals and policies to the public and managing the party’s public image.
